Samsung has opened a virtual version of its iconic 837 stores in Decentraland. The physical store is located at 837 Washington Street in the Meatpacking area of New York in Manhattan. The virtual store, Samsung 837X, will be open in Decentraland for a limited time.

According to Samsung, the Samsung 837X store will offer digital activities through the "Connectivity Theater and Sustainability Forest" and the musical on the "Customization Stage."

The Connectivity Theater will present Samsung news from its exhibition (CES), which started on January 5 and will last until January 8. In addition, Sustainability Forest will give visitors a fabulous experience through millions of digital trees.

As for the Customization Stage at the Samsung 837X store, guests will have the opportunity to experience a live augmented reality party hosted by DJ Gamma Vibes from the physical Samsung 837 store.

Guests will also participate in various expeditions with a prize of 837X NFT signals and one of the three limited-edition wearables.

"Innovation is in our DNA, and we look forward to experiencing this growing virtual world," said Michelle Crossan-Matos, vice president of corporate marketing and communications at Samsung Electronics America.

As the Samsung 837X store will be open in Decentraland for a limited time, the company plans to organize more such experiences throughout the year.
