AMC will start accepting Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin cash!

Following Walmart's fake news, Litecoin is seeing rising rates again, thanks to AMC.

AMC CEO Adam Aron announced on Twitter that the most significant US movie chain would begin accepting Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin cash in addition to Bitcoin.

Aron initially unveiled his company's plan to add support for the most prominent cryptocurrency during the company's earnings announcement in early August 2021.

He also said that AMC would consider other uses for blockchain technology, so altcoin payments are a logical step for the movie chain.

The Leawood-based company made many headlines due to the significant fluctuation of its share price in early 2021 after becoming the favorite of traders and GameStop.

Shares of AMC closed at $ 46.84 on September 15. Its share has increased by 2.131% since the beginning of the year.

Only time will tell what will happen to cryptocurrencies shortly.
